Dog with heart murmur?
I got a 10 year old German Shepherd Rescue Cross last year, and took her to his annual booster this week. the vet did a routine check and found him in a heart murmur. He said his teeth were in poor condition – they were when we her, but has not said anything about these things are related. I've been reading about it and, apparently, dental disease can cause heart murmurs. The veterinarian said that display as she is very active and does any other signs of heart disease that is very satisfied with his year just coming back to check, unless you notice a change in it over time. Assuming that the state of their teeth has been the case does anyone know if its possible to reverse the effects of this, and get rid of breath – Obviously I will be trying to clean teeth and remove plaque with chewing, etc..
my Sheltie was diagnosed when we took her at 10 weeks with a heartmurmer. And she's almost 14 years now. While the odds are active are not causeing any problems, when you stop playing and that is when eatting worry. Now I 2 dogs with heart and say there's nothing I sing live a healthy life. Dont worry about a lot if the vet isn't wanting to do the tests that she is fine just enjoy it. many games look and the love she Willbe a great dog. I've never heard of them is linked however.
