You have your cat's teeth clean is safe?
My cat for a medical examination every 6 months. I am willing to always ensure that all is well with him. The last 3 times I went I was told that you need a teeth cleaning because it has tartar / gingivitis accumulation. I see too! I know that "save as", if it is safe? And the surgery itself is safe? I wonder if he fails to do so and let him to heart disease later or loss of teeth, or make him "go under" and something like that is he dead or something. Just need to know if it is safe! It is assumed that I must take the morning and tonight I'm nervous! Please help!
This is really not a surgery is only a scale and clean. It should be under general anesthesia, because cats will not sit for half an hour with my mouth open and hands with veterans in it – lol. There is always a risk to put a cat under anesthesia, but it is relatively safe if the doctor is consistent with best practices. This includes the use of adequate anesthesia (isoflurane), keeping the heat generated by the patient during the procedure and blood pressure monitoring. So many cats have dental problems and lack of treatment might cause serious problems in life. It is always advisable to weigh the risks and, in this case, if plaque accumulates on teeth, cats should be removed. Some veterinarians commonly prescribe antibiotics just before cleaning and for several days as a precaution against bacteria which may release into the bloodstream. You may be able to reduce frequent trips to veterans by brushing the teeth of cats after Tarter has been deleted.

I suffer from from gingivitis and although, because of moving, I have had 3 dentists in 4 years and not one of them mentioned that my health was at risk other than tooth loss. However looking at information on the internet it appears that dentists are more interested in wanting to sell tooth-whitening and hyginest than informing you about gingivitis killing!
