American Heart Association encourages walking activities
In an effort to draw attention to employer-sponsored promotion health and preventing chronic diseases, the American Heart Association calls on employers across the country to develop health initiatives and activities physical like walking into a workplace € € œNational Wellness Week (5-11 April 2009). This year, the association  ™ € s National chatting! Day walk, which aims to achieve and Americans moving for 30 minutes, April 8, will be held during the week.

â € œNational Workplace Wellness € weeka serves to encourage public and private employers across the country to invest in their employees' health creating programs to promote health and the workplace to share best practices with other employers. The week began with American Heart Association to raise awareness of the importance of programs like wellness chatting! and to meet the nation's ™ € increased costs health, higher rates of obesity, sedentary behavior and increasing prevalence of the disease.
