Regular aerobic exercise has been shown to reduce the risk of heart disease. The recommendation is 1 hour at least 5 days a week. It is unlikely that his heart is skipping. More likely, premature heartbeat, producing a delay at the next heartbeat. This gives the feeling of jumping the heart or palpitation. Premature heartbeats are common and usually is secondary to a serious illness. Caffeine and anxiety are frequent premature beats. Palpitations can sometimes be secondary to an abnormal heart rhythm. Therefore, if your beats are frequent should consult your doctor about them. Good luck.
