Echocardiography dog – or a regular veterinary cardiologist for this test?
My 16 years. old dog was diagnosed with mitral heart valve disease and the onset of congestive heart failure. We are trying to "fine" tuning of your medications, and work well. They told me that while we have chest radiographs, an electrocardiogram, it would be useful. My vet can do that … but should I take my dog to the veterinary cardiologist for this, or is my regular veterinarian, able to do this test? Also, anyone knows what that means? It is very hard to stay still!
