It functions by “thinning” blood, thus preventing blood from clustering, reducing the risks of developing blockages.
Very often, doctors advice patients to undergo lifestyle changes even if they are taking medications to ensure that the treatment will work. Avoiding factors like cigarettes, alcohol, narcotics, fatty foods, and salty foods are the most common changes patient’s undergo.
